Worst insurance, avoid at all cost

I was involved in a motor vehicle accident in June 2020. At the time of taking the insurance out I was a learner driver. I took out comprehensive cover to cover myself and the third party vehicle. I then moved abroad and every month auto and general would deduct from my account for 4 years. I didn't visit SA much because I lived abroad and when I returned in June I tried making my license appointment but because of lockdown every time I went to make my appointment the traffic department would be closed. Unfortunately I was involved in an accident during that time and auto and general refused to fix my vehicle nor the third party vehicle. I have explained my situation to them but they did not listen at all. I was paying for 4 years a learner premium which started at R800 and went up. When taking the insurance out on my vehicle before I left South Africa I was told that in an event of an accident because I didn't have my license I would not be covered but the third party would thats why I still continued to pay for the insurance. This is the worst insurance ever, they have taken my money for 4 years every month and I have not claimed once. I have now received a legal letter from the third party claiming for the damages.
