Worst experience ever!
Renew-It Rivonia has to be the worst service provider I have ever been in touch with. My car was taken in on the 12 August 2021. On the 7th September, I was called by Isaac Simpemba who told us that the car was ready. On arrival, it was not. The panels were skew, the mirror was loose and the car looked in bad shape. He assured us that it would be repaired and we were then told on the 8th to come and collect the car as it was now 'ready'. Again, it was not as the same issues arose. It was then escalated to Brendhan Randall who is the manager. Brendhan looked at the car and they assured us that the damages would be repaired and agreed these are valid complaints. He then also promised to send us pictures of the car while it was in for repairs and also promised to take the car to VW for a full inspection as the car is still under warranty and needs to be repaired correctly within VW approved specifications. Needless to say, no pictures were taken. Then on Tuesday the 14th September, I called in and was told that the car was ready for collection. Again, it was not. I then noticed damages that Renew-It made to the vehicle and all the other damages were still there and the rear right rim was also not repaired correctly. I was promised that it would all be done, to date nothing. Isaac laughed at the situation and Brendhan was clear that VW allows a 4mm gap when repairing cars so it is basically as good as it is going to get. I have not received the report that confirms my car has been repaired correctly. I then called my insurance company Auto and General who has also dropped the ball here too. Apparently Renew-It has been in constant communication with me and my wife, which is a lie. This is what we get, lies and false information. Isaac called me this morning, his words were “I was instructed to call you” and this is coming from a “customer service consultant”… Renew-It Head office had 3 different ladies call me to tell me the same thing, we have escalated to the Exco, clearly, Exco doesn’t care much about people that are not on their level as they are still to get back to me (2 weeks later). All I ask is that this car gets repaired correctly, as I have paid my excess and I am sure that the repair invoice will be paid by Auto and General. Guys, with tears in my eyes!!!!! COME ON!

The claims process was frustrating as I constantly had to follow up with the claim’s consultant, which in the end the claim was approved.
My car then went in on the 12th of August and to date has not been repaired correctly.
My husband called in on the 14th of September to complain about the repairs done to the car and the fact that we needed to pay excess for a car that’s not fixed.
A&G’s response was that "they will load the complaint, and an A&G assessor would call us in 24/48 hours." To date, nothing. In fact, we called this morning to follow up and nothing seems to have been done.
We were also told that we must pay the excess ( no issue with this) but A&G has sent our car to this place, and we now have to do all the running around.
How would you feel when you must pay insurance for a car that you don’t have?
This has been an exhausting exercise, as we had to take 3 days off work so far and all we hear from A&G and Renew-It Rivonia is “we understand and this is not right”
