We received a request from the agent to provide proof of the accident. Surely the EMPD accident report attached to emails is proof enough...

06 Dec 2025, 08:30The agent handling the claim has no sense of urgency and no communication skills.
No matter what statement and/or information you provide, you will wait for days without any communication.
When you follow up, ask for feedback on any communication, all of a sudden there is a new issue and some new administrative procedures to comply with.
Seems like they sit around and wait for you to get their work somewhat done.
Very bad experience and wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
It has been two weeks since the accident, which was not my fault by the way and left me with lower spinal cord injuries, and we are unable to get any information or updates regarding the status of vehicle or the status of the claim.
Save yourself a lot of frustration. Keep away.
Car hire costly and comes with major conditions.
This stood out for me.
Should you fall victim to a crime of hijacking or vehicle theft while using the rental vehicle, YOU will get punished with double excess charge of R9000.00
That just feels so unfair.
The 24 hour a day nightmare continues...
