Wants to put up my premium **********ly.

Took me 10s of emails and lots of bad Facebook reviews for them to even get back to me after I received a email stating my premium would go up by almost R200. When they did get back to me they told me that its normal for premiums to go up. I also told them that if they went and listened to the voice recording when I took out the insurance the broker told me that my premiums would go down yearly as my car decreases. It was then escalted to a manager who went and listened to the recordings and admitted that their broker did say that but he doesnt work there anymore and he was incorrect to tell me that. I told them that Its a binding contract and that if they put up my premium I would make a case of *****. Now received an email my monthly premium would go off with the R200 extra amount.

So this is the email that I receive claiming they tried to call me. Yet no Auto and General numbers missed on my phone and have you heard of voicemail?

Dear Mr MR Nel

We have attempted to contact you as one of our valued customers; regarding your complaint about the annual increase on your policy; however we have been unsuccessful.

Please see below we have sent an email on the 10 May with regards to your complaint. Kindly advise how to proceed with your policy.

We can reduce the premium to R 746.46 with a basic excess of R 4900. The premium of R 746.46 is only a quote and valid for 30 days, which will only be made effective on your approval.Should we leave the policy as it is, a premium of R 890.55 will be debited on 07/09/2019.

Your response to this email will be highly appreciated, alternatively please contact us on ***.

Kind regards

In line with FAIS requirements, some of our agents work under the supervision of Auto & General.

So I rep**** to their email as requested:

When and how did you try and contact me? I have an app on my phone that shows who is calling and noone from your side has tried to contact me. And I run a business and pick up every call sent to me so you are obviously telling a lie.

Secondly. Go back to the past two years emails and telephone recordings and listen and understand that your broker told me when I signed up my premium wont go up. Especially not by 28%. And blah di blah about the economy and you taking losses. I have all those emails and voice recordings on my phone and will not be afraid to send to the ombudsman and keep on posting to media sites your ********** behaviour. I mean what is the worth of 365 days of posting on a long term basis and keeping customers from buying your service? You do the sum. And if you think that trying to placate me with lowering my monthly installment and upping my co payment which btw is exorbant and I never agreed to last year then you are mistaken. I am cc'ing my legal advisor in this regard as well.

I reject your offer and wait for your new one.

Just to get an automated email:
