Terrible service from Auto & General

Don’t choose this insurer! I submitted our motor vehicle claim on the 16 May 2023 and nothing has been done to repair my vehicle. It doesn’t matter how many times you call, email, message on their app…. I get no response and the one time someone called and promised to call back, they never do! Why has it taken 5 weeks to have nothing done to my vehicle?! This is an absolute joke. They are happy to take our monthly payment of R2750 for car insurance but we have had zero service from them! How long will it take to have my vehicle repaired? 5 weeks to have my car sitting there still damaged with no updates from auto & General is not good enough!! Choose wisely and even though I did my research about car insurers and they came highly recommended, , I am absolutely appalled by Auto & General. My wife and I live in a remote area and not to have a car for medical emergencies is a huge risk we face. We have now had to spend even more money on hiring a rental car. Don’t let this happen to you!
