Synonym for Auto & General is Pathetic

If I could pick anything lower than one star I would have. Was involved in an accident with one of their clients in a parking area, their client drove into while I was exiting the parking area. Claim processed and now that they have pay out they want to deduct 30% of the claim because no evasive action was taken by me as the driver. I really couldn't swerve out as there was a pavement on the left hand side and their client on the right hand side...so they would rather me drover over a pavement and damage my car in order to claim from my insurance. here is how they make their money then, their client pays excess, they then deduct 30% of my value of the claim and they as the insurance company pay the least amount of the claim value. In my 26 years of driving have never encountered anything like this. I know there are case laws for this but surely each case gets dealt with on merit. Absolutely pathetic is the only way to describe Auto & General. Do not even think of singing up, they are ******s of note.
