Stay away from Auto & General and go to Discovery or Santam instead!!!!

The worst service I have ever received from an insurance company. I moved from Discovery Insurance to Auto & General when one of their consultants called me with a better monetary offer. I moved my building and contents insurance to them. When I put in my first claim a few months later for accidental damage, they gave me the worst excuse to avoid paying my claim. They said that only certain household items are covered under the accidental claim and only glass is covered. What *******! My mom had a similar claim to the one that I submitted with Auto & General with Santam about 3 years back and they had no problem paying the claim. I moved my insurance back with Discovery immediately.

I then enquired from the Discovery Insure consultant whether the accidental damage which is included in my Discovery policy would have paid that claim had I submitted it and they said yes, no problem.

I would recommend to insure with Discovery or Santam. They are the best!!!
