Scratches and dents claim

I am really confused and not happy with Auto&General. Took out a policy. with them for car, household and Scratches and dents.

We then had a scratch and dent incident which was investigated, thereafter feedback received that we would be covered for the fixes.

unfortunately, shortly after that...got into a minor accident and had to claim for that as well.

the feedback that we received is that Auto and General would be paying out cash and would not cover us anymore for car insurance due to the condition of the car, we accepted that.

The scratch and dents had not been finalised as we did not have access amount yet when the minor accident happened.

My challenge now is that I want the scratch and dents department to pay us the shortfall from the incident cover amount since Auto and General decided to not provide a service to us, then we take the amount for both incidents and find a panel beater that would do all at once.

the company does not want to pay us the difference of the amount and I do not know why.

Please assist in getting this resolved.
