RECEIVED BAD SERVICE FROM AUTO AND GENERAL

On the 31st of December 2023 I was involved in an accident. On the scene I informed my insurance company ‘Auto and General’ then called the breakdown, arrived and took my car 'Man B towing services'.

On the 08 of January 2024 they did an inspection and took the vehicle to Empangeni Auto Renovators. After that I was informed that my claim was declined due to December’s premium that was R1582,67 instead of R1 888,60.

Then my question was how because it’s a debit order, if I didn’t have money it was going to bounce back. I then told them to deduct the outstanding amount as it was not my fault in the first place that they deducted R1582,67 but they did not. I tried to reach out to them so many times so that we can resolve this issue they've been dragging the whole process and to this day I did not get help and now I must pay damages that cost +-R80k.

Now I think I should cancel the contract with them because I've a been a loyal customer ever since I bought my car. Even now they're still deducting my money every month yet I didn't get the service I deserve.

I even received an email from Chevonne Percival to kindly come and collect the vehicle at Empangeni Auto Renovators to the repairer Alpha panelbeaters.

When I called to inform them that I am coming to collect the vehicle, they told me there is no one available to assist to release the vehicle from the eMpangeni Renovators they'll come back to me. Till this day I have not received an email nor sms or phone call from them
