Quotation converted into a policy

I have called Auto & General to request for a motor vehicle insurance quotation towards end of February. <br> To my surprise, the quotation has been converted into an active policy. <br> I called to cancel the policy on the 26 February 2016 mentioned to the call center of the mistake done and to my surprise, I was still billed on assurance for a vehicle which I am not using. <br> <br> This result to unnecessary bank charges which the bank said they won't be responsible of.
