POOR COMMUNICATION REGARDING THE OUTCOME OF MY CLAIM
I submitted a claim on my warranty on 25 October 2024, and to date, there has been no formal communication regarding the outcome of my claim. I constantly have to call the Auto and General warranty department and have been made to hold for over 15 minutes without any assistance. The lack of communication is utterly disappointing. All this happens while my car is at the dealer and have no alternative means of transportation.

29 Oct 2024, 15:47Subsequent to receiving your feedback, I was informed that the dealer can only claim for the diagnostic test since the claim was not approved. The dealer sent the amount due on a quotation to Auto and General and the assessor confirmed that all was well. I had to call again today to find out how far the process is in finalizing the payment of the diagnostic tests to the dealer so i can fetch my car. I'm only informed today that Auto and General require an invoice to pay the dealer, not a quotation.
Guess who has to request the invoice from the dealer? "ME." That means I have to make another call to the dealer to request that they send an invoice to Auto and General, NOT a quotation, as was sent.
What is the purpose of paying premiums when I have to do all the administration?
