no reason for claim rejected

I put in a claim for my selfone that got ******, I went to the police station and they sent i should go back where it happen and reported to that police station. ?.since I'm working 500km where it happen i could not just go so i waited when i got leave , but i did block the phone and did a sim swap. After four weeks a when to that police station and they couldn't assist me because they don't have a data clerk to give me the cause number. After three days i went back again givemy details and when issubmitted the claim i give incorrect date . The insurance give me trouble about the date so i went to the police station again to help correct the date.. After everything they rejected my claim because of the incorrect date. My problem is i did go back and rewrite my wrong date but auto general don't want to hear nothing , they still debt my account and up till now no letter head from them confirming the claim rejection or cancelation of policy ! ***
