No quick way to log a claim

I am traveling and was told the only way to log a caim is telphonically and the call will take about 1/2 hour..

I have no access to a landline. Much of the time the signal is poor. Much of the time i am driving and cannot take a call.

Also i need my mobile access for clients, by the time i am finished a 1/2 call the phone will need recharching and i could lose an important other call.

I this day and age WHY is it not possible to take a claim by the means the client prefers. e-mail me a form for goodness sake and I will gladly complet it and e-mail it back. This can be done after hours when I am not busy .

I intend to take a policy with another company as a result of only being able to claim by phone.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

We have referred the matter to the customer relations team who will try to assist possibly via email.

This unfortunately is our process, for one record keeping in that the calls are recorded and we are a paperless organisation.

We will however try our level best to assist, taking your circumstances into consideration.

Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Kind Regards,

The Auto&General Team

Reviewer Update

E-mail is easiest if you are paperless.

If you are a paperless organisation you should consider having a web form that can be saved by the user as each stage of the claim is completed and then finally submitted.
