I withdraw my previous good rating for customer service care of Auto an and General insurance. I have been a loyal paying customer for 5 years without one claim. Until now, when I was retrenched in March 2023. I informed them straight away once I had received notice. I requested the retrenchment wavier as is my right to do so as it is part of my policy. For 4 months I have been pushed from pillar to post only to met with more excuses and now silence. But yet Auto and General have absolutely no issue with emailing and messaging me to no end in reminding me that I am in areas. And also they decided to pump my premium up for the second time this year. I am no fool and I know what their intentions in this regard are, and that is to do absolutely nothing to assiste me with request but rather pass me around the different departments as to give the impression that they are attending to me only stretch it out until the point where they can cancel my policy for non payment and hold me responsible. And I won't hold my breath of being contacted before the new month because apparently no body works from the 25th of each because there is zero communication telephonically or electronically from the company employees. I have all communicate documented and I will be requesting my call logs to seek legal advice now. *
