Left stranded without a courtesy car during the repairs of my car because my 15 days are exhausted.
It's not nice always having to complain about service because frankly that truly tarnishes the image of a brand. Why do we as clients have to complain to get the some form of fair service? This is so exhausting. A client chooses to make business with a certain company out of trust. But once a client loses trust in a company due to bad service, the company not only stands to lose a loyal client but the reputation of the brand becomes debatable. 1 unsatisfied client will complain and instill doubt on future clients on whether they want to risk making business with a company that's failing at keeping their current clients happy. I complained about how terribly my rental courtesy car matter was handled little over a couple of weeks ago. Though can I appreciate how the issue was remedied but for that I had to complain. But here I am again unsatisfied. Counting from when I put in my claim (12 April 2019) and when it was finalised (26 April 2019) a total of 14 days was taken to complete my claim and not the promised 7 working days. Which i get it was a result of weekends and public holidays in between which i as client was expected to understand it's beyond your normal business day. However the same analogy DID NOT APPLY for my 15 days a located with the courtesy car. My inconvenience is not being taken into consideration. On the 1st of May (my birthday) I was forced to give back the car no later than 12 noon. A whole public holiday and because my closest branch didn't operate on the day I had to travel even further because I'd be charged for them to collect the car. So today being the 4th day of the official repairs on my car, and my courtesy car has been taken back, what means of transportation am I left with? My insurance refuses to grand me an extention on merit that my claim was delayed due to public holidays and weekends plus 2 additional days. I am told to pay for the rental our of my own capacity! With what money when my access of R6.4 was topped with an additional excess of R2.2 for getting involved in an accident between 11pm- 5am. A total of R8.5 will be paid by me for excess. So the additional for rental of a car should fall from the heavens im guessing. Your premium was also deducted successfully on the 20th by the same company that's given me more headaches than peace of mind. Or perhaps I should reverse that premium and pay for the rental with it? It is totally not okay to treat clients this way. It's taking a lot for me not to consider leaving this insurance. I work night shifts and don't exactly have the convenience of taking public transport at the hours I work. Metre cabs are insanely expensive. I don't even what to rush you to complete repairs on my car because I can assure you the job will be ******* because it was rushed and I'll be back to complaining. Am I being difficult or asking for too much? I could have been with any other insurance but I chose YOU! Seems I made a big mistake.
