insurance went wrong

I'm getting tired of the insurance companies, I 've moved to Auto and general thinking they were different and better, but not really , I have to call them every time to find out what is happening with my car, when we finally reach the agreement which was them “not fixing my car “ but we agreed on that they return my car striped from the panel beater so guys tell why do we need insurance. I’ m still waiting for the call from 12h30 regarding car hire from them..
