INSURANCE REFUSES TO PAY CLAIM BECAUSE OF ADDRESS

I was recently involved in a motor vehicle accident. This is not a fun experience for anybody and my vehicle was towed by the insurer's Towing company and I was given a courtesy car according to my policy, which had made this slighly less nervewracking.<br> <br> I waited two weeks for an outcome from the assessors and was then told that my claim for R 50 000+- would not be paid because the address which was stated on the policy was not the address at which I was residing. The car had previously been parked at my brother's place where I was living, but I was forced to move when he relocated to another country.<br> <br> I AM LIVID, as I would understand that the address mattered if the car was broken into, vandalized or ******. I, however was involved in AN ACCIDENT!!! An accident can happen anywhere and at any time.<br> <br> I implore you to change your insurance company, if you are insured by Auto & General or any Telesure company as this is just absolutely unacceptable.<br> <br> These guys will have you feeling safe and secure and when something really happens to you, they'll leave you high and dry because they've found a loophole to covering you.
