Insurance Payback

To whom it may concern In May 2015, I was involved in a car accident with my 2010 Polo Vivo. I bought the car cash from a guy a met on GUMTREE. I had insurance with Auto and general, I was insured for a Retail value. The car was then written off and the claim was approved that I will be paid R104 000 in my acccount within 3 dayys, after two week I was told that i will get half of that money because my car was a build-up. But initially when I took the insurance my car went for an inspection at glass fit and they didn’t mention that il be paying insurance for a build-up car. I was never even mentioned on my policy.. I never missed a monthly premium since I joined them. I need your help regarding this matter because all I knew I was paying insurance for a normal used car and suppose to get the full payout for my car insurance
