INSURANCE CLAIM FOR THEFT HANDLED PROFESSIONALLY

We recently had a theft from my mother's home where she lives on her own- she will be 102 years of age in 6 weeks. She is still capable of caring for herself and the home but I, her daughter, provide her with meals 3x per day. On 19 Dec I went outside to feed the 9 hadidas that visit daily, was gone 3 minutes, and on entering the house noticed that my bag was missing from the living room as well as a vintage kukri knife from her cupboard. My mother is the policy holder at A&G, but both of us were compensated for our loss with virtually no hassle. I had to get the price of the Kukri knife from websites, which were accepted by this insurer and the knife was paid out in full.
