<br> In 2004 I was involved in a car accident and the Auto & General fetched the car from scene and sent it for repairs and phoned me to fetch it after it was fixed, I went to fetch the car but it was not in good condition, I phoned them to tell them about the condition of the car and they told me to return the car to the dealer who was fixing it, days later they told me they are writing it off. they paid the balance to the bank which was around R43000 and paid about R5000 into my personal bank account and that is all I got. when I asked them is that all that was due to me, they told me the other money was used to pay for the repairs done to my car, the car was not returned to me till today, and it was their decision to fix the car not my decision, how then was I responsible for the repairs and if I paid for the repairs, why was the car not returned to me then? was I not supposed to be paid the value of the car I insured? I really feel I was ****** here and nobody is willing to give me answers. I was sent from pillar to post until I gave up ! Auto & General ****** me period!!!
