High monthly premium increase and failure to counter offer other insurers on time

Apart from increasing my monthly premium with about 34% during their yearly review, Auto and General failed numerous times to counter offer on what other insurances were offering me and surprisingly on the last minute they then wanted to give me a better which is in fact totally unacceptable as this should have been done when there’s still time.
