My handbag was ******, I put in a claim for my bag and contents, Auto and general cam back to say they would only pay for my perfume and wallet. My excess was R1200. Contents were less than that. I had specifically asked for a handbag insurance as these days you have to be careful. I have been a loyal client to them, have never had a claim. I think this is really unprofessional and will be taking my business else where. My husband had his cell phone in my bag, out a claim in and they paid him out within 24 hours with a excess of R350. Now that is what you call service. Disgusted by Auto and general.
