Fire and content claim declined

I took insurance car, house and contents insurance years ago, my outside toilet and kitchen veranda root and ceiling damaged due to fire. Auto & general declined my claim states that my fire place is not properly built 😭. When I took insurance with them no one came to assess my house but now they have guts to tell me this. Policy ***
