False Unlimited warranty plan

My car unexpectedly experienced multiple electrical issues. It wouldn't start, the lights wouldn't turn on, the alarm kept sounding, and I couldn't unlock the doors with the key. I contacted my insurance company on December 30th, and they authorized me to take the car to a VW dealership.

At the dealership, I explained the issues, including the car's instability on uneven roads. They provided a quote for repairs, which I submitted to the insurance company. However, after three weeks of waiting, the insurance company approved only the steering rack and wheel alignment repair, amounting to R30,000. I was required to cover the remaining costs, exceeding R50,000.

I disputed this decision, explaining that repairing the steering rack alone would not resolve the car's starting and electrical issues. The insurance company refused to increase the approved amount, stating that the additional repairs were not covered.

Despite having unlimited cover for electrical and mechanical damage, the insurance company is now denying these claims. I requested call recordings to support my claim, but they have delayed the investigation for another week. This delay has caused significant inconvenience, as I have young children and rely on my car for transportation. Its now going to be four weeks
