Deceived into signing a “LIMITED RELEASE 3RD PARTY [PERSONAL INJURY AND PROPERTY DAMAGE] [COMBINED]” under falls pretense
It is with great disappointment that I have after following Up and submitting all the documentation required for a 3rd party claim, I have discovered that Auto and General made me sign a “LIMITED RELEASE 3RD PARTY [PERSONAL INJURY AND PROPERTY DAMAGE] [COMBINED]” but failed to mention they had not covered all the damages to the car and the set amount didn’t cover full repairs. Only when my car was assessed by Mercedes- Benz I realized I had been ****med by my own insurance on a 3rd party claim. I would have to pay thousands more to full fix the damages with OCCURED as a results of the accident in question. After following up I realized they didn’t intend to fix the intelligent lighting system’s two controls which operates the headlamp which was damaged in turn damaging the controls as well. Without them the Headlamp of my Mercedes-benz A Class will not work. After requesting on Friday that a manager calls me to discuss this issue before my car goes in for repairs on Tuesday. It’s Almost Tuesday no one called back. I signed the document under falls pretense trusting that a reputable insurance company like Auto and general WHICH I am also insured with will have my best interest at heart. Yet they deceived me into accounting for thousands worth of damages. IT’S A **** PEOPLE BEWARE

Update:
We confirm that our Customer Relation Specialist as well as the assessing manager have been in contact with you and the agreement is that you provide us with your quote. We will be able to revert back to you once we have received the quote.
Further, we would like to clarify your concerns as raised above.
You have claimed against one of our customers as a third party as you did not wish to claim against your own policy, which is totally understandable and the claim was finalised accordingly.
We have settled the claim in full and an offer was made to you. We refer you to our written correspondence dated: 12/03/2018, whereby the offer was made. We have given you the option to decide which offer will suite you best.
Option one, to repair the vehicle at one of our selected repairers, or,
Option two, whereby you can accept the cash offer (based on our assessed quote) and have the vehicle repaired at your own repairer.
You have decided to opt for the cash settlement. Please be advised that we requested you to sign a release, which serves as confirmation that you accept the offer. Also bear in mind that this is standard practice, and based on this, we cannot agree with your comment that we have :made" you to sign the documents.
Having said that, the agreement is that you will provide us with your quote, in order for us to review and supply you with feedback. We trust you will find the above in order and we invite you to contact our Customer Relation Specialist if you require assistance.
Kind Regards,
The Auto & General Team.

Update:
We have attempted to discuss the matter with you, and you have chosen not to discuss the matter with us telephonically and ended the call.
We have reviewed your quote and confirm yet again, that we have given you an option to have your vehicle repaired at a supplier of our choice, which you have refused to make use of, and requested to be paid in cash. The payment was done and you have agreed to the terms of the settlement and you have signed the release that serves as full and final settlement of the claim.
We confirm that we are closing our file.
