Debiting my account when and as they want.

This started off in December when Auto and General debited my account on the 24th instead of the agreed date being the 27th of each month.
Because I had not made provision for this debit order on this date, the debit order returned unpaid, I was then charged R100 by my bank for the returned debit order. I then received a text message from Auto and General saying I should reply yes if I want my account to be debited 10 days later and I agreed. What happens I am now charged an additional R59,50 for resubmission by the Insurer.

This persisted again in January and now again in February my account is debited on the 22nd...WHY?
Who authorised this change of date?

Auto and general needs to refund me my bank charges as well as the R59,50 charged with the January and February premium and while at it change my debit order date back to the 27th before I start looking for another insurer outside of the Telesure Group.

Hello MsMas1,

We acknowledge receipt of your complaint.

We confirm that one of our consultants discussed your complaint with you. We have agreed to refund you the charges that you had to pay for these deductions and will do so once we have received your statements.

We have also opted you out for future early deductions and sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this has caused.

Regards,
The Auto & General Team.
