Conned into signing up for an additional policy

Last year in October I received a call from one of your agents with regards to the scratch and dent policy, he explained that by signing up for the policy I would be assisted with my car licence renewal which had expired in August and he was well informed about that. He said that my licence would be renewed nonetheless if I signed up which I had done. I have not received any communication form the agent ever since regarding my licence renewal which he also mentioned would be posted to me.

Today, I called to follow up on the renewal of my licence and am told that it cannot be done as licences that have been expired cannot be processed. I feel that I have been conned into signing up for this policy and I am irritated and beyond ****ed with the outcome.

I want to cancel the stupid scratch and dent policy and I expect to be paid back for the debits that were deducted for the policy. I feel that the way it was sold to me was extremely shady and dodgey.
