Claim that I cancelled with incorrect details

Last year I had an incident on the N1, I reported the incident to the insurance and SAPS with 24 hours.

I took the car in for assessment, when they assessed it, they found thta there was no damage just the paint from the other car and I withdrew the claim because there was no damage to the car.

When I changed my insurance this year, Auto and General wrote a report to the new insurer and said that I made a claim of R31000 last year and the claim was rejected due to the fact that I idid not report the incident within 48hours to SAPS. This is not true and has led to an increase in my instalment.

I am a mature and responsible driver. I don't drink and haven't had any accident in the past 6 years or so. I find it very unfair to have a high insurance premium due to incorrect information by auto and general when I have been with them for 10 years.
Reviewer Update

2 weeks later I still have not been provided feedback by Auto and General. I got a call and was told that this will be cleared in 3 days, 2 weeks later, no one has called me. To think that I have been with you since 2005 In the meantime my insurance has been increased and have to pay for a higher premium.

I am a responsible citizen, have not had an accident in more than 6 years but I have to pay for a higher premium because of your inefficiencies and lack of proper record keeping.
