Claim Rejected Due To Incompetence Of Assessor

A claim was lodged with Auto & General on 10/09/2015. As per the consultant we had to submit paperwork to Telesure. All paperwork was submitted on 14/09/2015 to initiate the claim process.<br> <br> One of the items on the claims list was a Sony PlayStation 4 (PS4) which belonged to my youngest son. The assessor contacted my eldest son to enquire about the console of which he was unable to correctly inform the assessor as the console belonged to his younger brother.<br> <br> The console was given to the younger son for his birthday in 2014 by his Aunt who stays abroad. The aunt entered SA on 15/12/13 and left SA on 02/01/14. According to the assessor the Aunt was last in SA in 2006. This information was acquired without her I.D or passport number which she feels is not for public information due to international *****. This she explained to the assessor in an email which he totally disregarded.<br> <br> Because of this, the entire claim was rejected and my insurance policy cancelled with immediate effect on 16/10/15. I have also been red flagged for insurance ***** based his accusations. In his words to me: \your son never had a PS4".<br> <br> I will be disputing this claim rejection.<br> <br> """
