cheat you out of a fair premium

Got a quote from auto and general at R1.6k the previous day following day called to accepet it, no record of it was found by the person helping me so we do a new one. it goes to R2k from the previous one of R1.6k. some supervisor gets involved and they drop it back to R1.6k. a few days later someone called sbu calls me offering me a discount of R300 on previous quote I tell him thats cool lets go ahead and effect it, i also inform him i had already accepted the initial offerring he then back tracks and i dont receive the discount. his sales supervisor gets involved making statements that are incorrect in justifying why they can no longer give me the discount. long story short with auto and general they dont always give you the fair quote it would appear they wait for you to reject then approach with the fair quote. its safe to say I am back on the market looking for an alternative insurer for a fair quote.
