Cancelled insurance because of erroneous debit order.

Last week Tuesday my wife got an SMS to say that her account has been suspended because the debit order was reversed. The debit order was only meant to go off on the 25th of the month. The money taken from the account was designated for another use making it difficult to now buy products for our business. When she phoned the agent the agent said it was fine and most probably an error on the system. she asked if they can refund her and they said that it will show as a credit on the system for the next debit. She asked if she can reverse it as she is now short and needed to pay for items to complete a project for a client. the agent said it would be fine but we would have to manually pay the account on the due date which was acceptable. My wife then reversed charges and proceeded to do business as usual. she then showed me an SMS that stated the policy has been canceled due to the reversal. it also stated that she should reply 1 to resubmit the claim or 2 to have an agent call her back. she rep**** 2 and got no reply for 2 days. She then rep**** again to try and resubmit the claim and again it was ignored. She then phones this morning and speaks to an agent who cannot trace the previous calls and does not know anything about the conversation held with the previous agent. She asked about the fact that the agent told her to reverse it and he said there is no such rule.

i have started legal proceeding against A&G with my lawyer as i have had enough of the ********** operating practices.
