Breach of contract

I have an ongoing third party claim with Auto & General since February 2018 . They sent me an offer to sign which I did on 16 April 2018. Only to amend the offer the next day. After a couple of emails going back and forth, I consulted with my lawyer and was informed that the first offer they sent and I signed is a legally binding document and therefor the amended offer does not have merit. Then the Third parties liability consultant Vhutshilo Maluleke rep**** with this: I acknowledge receipt of your mail. Kindly be advised that the matter will be closed and will be re-opened once the signed (amended) offer is received. What does this mean?? Makes no sense! Once I sign the amended offer that is it. I will not stand for this. Auto & General needs to pay the first offer I signed on 16 April 2018.
