Breach of agreement on claim

They have rejected my scratch and dent claim stating that the policy had not started while the schedule states clearly the starting date of the 1Sep2019, premiums went off my account and inspection was done on the 31Aug2019 therefore the waiting period was waived, I had an incident on the 8th of Sep however they advised that the policy has not commenced, how come while we agreed that I must go for inspection and the policy shall commence on the 1Sep2019. They are easy and quick to join but when you claim they drag their feet like snails. They are in breach of our agreement, I feel sorry for those that are insured with this insurer as the service Im getting is not on, if you are insured with this insurer A friendly warning get yourself a reputable insurer that will take care of you period.
