Beyond pathetic service & exploitation of pensioners
My retired uncle reached out to me in desperation because he is just not winning with A&G. His car broke down at Colesburg 3 weeks ago due to a timing belt issue and it was taken to the Chevrolet dearlership in Bloemfontein by an authorised A&G tow truck. His car has been standing at the dealership unattended this whole time. Despite numerous phone calls to the A&G call centre and eventually going to the A&G Head office in Jhb to get some answers and some action, he's back at square one. The most recent person who said he would assist is Diren Singh. He was trying to assist initially but now my uncle can't even get hold of him. This is so far beyond pathetic at this point. My uncle has had to fight for a courtesy vehicle and is still having to fight for his vehicle to be fixed. Add to that, my uncle is currently based in Bloemfontein but will very soon be moving to Jhb. What now A&G???? How do you treat paying, and worse, retired, clients this way? In these challenging economic circumstances, how do you have someone making sacrifices to pay for insurance that does nothing for him when its supposed to. He has spent so much money on phone calls and coming to Jhb to try and get resolution and has been very very patient. Its time for someone senior to step in. NOW. Expecting a client to wait 1 month for action is beyond the pale.
