Be careful of the insurance companies, they are sharks

An advice ; do not take an insurance cover that you do not understand no matter how hard the broker tryies to explain it to you, it's worse if the broker is not speaking your language. I took an insurance cover with the above- mentioned insurer telephonically, it happened that the cover is a third party which was explained to me but even though explained I didn't understand what it meant, I just assumed that my car is insured and I'm safe. But recently after being knocked by a hit and run vehicle with no lights on, at the robots and street lights that are not working for a long time and it was at midnight. The insurer sent Precision tow truck to tow my car, when the Precision truck arrived we were in the car with lights on, he inspected the car , started it to read the milage and other things in the car, we left the tower on the scene spot busy with the car and we went to the police station. Where he found us bringing a document for me to sign then he drove off with my car, few days later the insurer called me to inform that the car is a right off but they cannot repair nor replace it because the cover I chose is a third-party so they will bring my car back to me. They brought it back to my house and the car battery was gone, the small dashboard which was stuck due to the accident had my items that I couldn't take out was forced open and my items were gone. I'm now waiting for the response of the insurer after sending them an email informing them about my missing items. Insurances may sound good but they are only there to enrich themselves not the client.
