Bad Service

I have lodge a claim for my house roof that leaked from heavily storms in 2018. The result of this storms was leak marks on the ceiling and some walls. the claim was not for the roof itself but the result of the roof that leaked. My roof was sealed and painted with all of the ceilings in 2017. the insurance say now that the leaks on the ceiling is due to wear and tear which is totally not true and the claim was declined for this reason. I always thought people is wrong in saying that the insurance first check if they can decline a claim before paying it and I was skeptical about this statement but now I has first hand experience that it might be the truth
