I had an insurance policy with auto and general that I cancelled in November 2024 because they couldn’t get their order date correct. I’ve received a cancellation confirmation letter dated 27 November. To my surprise in May 2025 I realised that auto general has not stopped debiting my account. I queried with them and they refunded me. June passed no debit order was taken from my account, July 2025 Auto & general started debiting my bank account again. I realised now in October that they’ve been debiting my account again since July 2025. They are ******* who just go into peoples bank account whenever they want to even though a person has moved on with another insurance company.
