Auto & General Deceiving Policy - 90 Days on a scratch & dent policy!!???

I have an add on cover with Auto&General for small dents and scratched I opened in August 2018. Last week I found a small dent on my Ford Ranger and called in and got a Claim Number AG503525. Went to AutoMagic Menlyn and they did an assessment. I called now to A&G and they say because I am within 90 DAYS! that the claim is rejected. I never ever knew there was a 90 day period. And 90 days? I opened this in August 2018!!!!!!! It is the 11th today with the claim on the 8th. If I was going to ***** you then I would have waited till after 90 days. So this is truthful that I didn't know about the 90 days and the dent occured last week sometime [probably a trolley as no one in this country has respect for anyone anymore]. I want my car fixed. 90 days is deemed to be an unreasonable time. Or re pay all my premiums as my urge to cancel is boiling. Pay the claim or refund my premiums on cancellation.

I haven't even received a claims rejection letter. I contacted a ********** number which is the other party details and they informed me A&G has rejected on those pathetic grounds. Bidvest here I come.

I have read all documents - 90 days applies if the vehicle IS NOT inspected. I have sent A&G the inspection that was done on the 17 October 2018. I have this document that was sent to ********** from GLASFIT ********** with ref JHB1EMLPOLN: ********** 84CLM:00DOC:EIOPER:CLAIMOP100. Now fix my car

Hi Still no feedback on this. I finally received a claims rejection letter but it doesn't stipulate WHY the claim is rejected. Also got a funny SMS apologizing for not debiting my account on my preferred day the on the 13th the debit went off. So very confused as telephonically the claim was rejected due to stipulated 90 day period, the due to the claim being R5,700 with a buy out part [even though I have received verbal quotes of R700 to R800 on this as it is PDR and a 3 to 4 hour fix, no paint - therefore no official quote] so I am left wondering what the heck is going on as no feedback at all.

Hi Called twice now - Auto & General I now understand that this AutoMagic VAP is outsourced by A&G - they are useless! Someone called me on a +27 (10) ********** number on Friday 15/02/2019 and they said everything was sorted. Now yesterday and today I called A&G add-on cover for the scratch and dent and they say it is back with A&G for authorization ? As they excluded the buy out part (still have no idea what this part is) so quote went from R5,700 to below R5,000. And like I mention - I have been to 3 accredited panel beaters and this is a PDR between R600 to R800. All I want is my dent fixed. And for those reading this, the dent is +-2mm x 2mm in that area and AutoMagic is sending quotes to A&G in the thousands! Case study right here why premiums go up!

And b.t.w, a technical fault on A&G side was the reason why my premium wasn't deducted. Not my fault, onus on A&G. I want my vehicle to be checked by another A&G accredited panel beater, not any AutoMagic.
