AUTO & GENERAL CLAIM DELAY OVER 6 WEEKS

On 14/10/2017, I had an accident and Until today 27/11/2017 I have not received my car back from the authorized repairer Lowveld Body Works. The Insurer does not use paper for claims however they take forever to conclude/finalize a claim. My claim was only finalized 31/10/2017 which was two weeks after the claim was lodged.

During that time I was not given a hired car due to the fact that i was told i don't have it on my policy. Which was to my surprise, however 4 weeks later i was advised that my hired car has been included on my policy after requesting for review on the recordings of the day i requested a vehicle insurance.

The insurer authorized a panel beater that is unreliable and unprofessional, named Lowveld Body Works in Nelspruit. I requested an appointment of an alternative repairer however i was advised that i will be charged 10% of the fee for repair plus excess. The appointed panel beater on my visit, on the 10th November 2017, to their workshop advised me that they do not know anything about my car and even after i left my details i never received a call until on the 13th November 2017 when i called auto and general thats when i was made to speak to their boss via conference call.

He advised my car (Silver Toyota Avanza 1.5 Reg. JFF229MP) would be ready by 27/11/2017 and is not. I have exhausted my patience please assist. I have advised the insurer about the service provider however they insisted. i have sent the complain to Auto & General Complaints Department ********** but I have not received any response or acknowledgement of receipt of my email.
