Auto And General you ****ing me

I had an Accident with my car on my way to college in cape Town. The incident happened on the R27 between the Mamre and Atlantis turnoff. A Bakkie transporting fish in the opposite direction I was traveling had fish bins on it and one of the lids of this bins flew off. The lid hit my car from the front and then the roof. Car damages will be in the pictures I attach. Naming some is the windscreen,roof,bonnet,Front light, Left fender and door post on the driver side. The driver of the Hyundai Registration number (CA 996-359) was Roderick CS Van Niekerk Licence Number (***) ID Number (***). Roderick turned back and we shared information. His telephone number is ***.

After we took pictures of the damage we exchanged information to stay in touch. I turned back to Saldanha because I passed a road block on the Mamre turn off. The traffic officer told me to go and open a case in Atlantis ,because it has to be done at the closest Police station ,which I did. The case number is.IB..10/08/2019. After that I drove back to the road block because the windscreen is shot and did not know if it was ok to drive like that. The traffic official told me to drive slowly and directly home and leave the car until it is fixed. After the incident I’ve spoken to my Insurance Auto and general and they say Roderick have to fix the car. I have spoken to Roderick a few times as he informed me the car is his father’s company vehicle and it do have insurance. I have asked him Three times since the incident because it is a big inconvenience for myself and family what the next step is ,but do not get any positive reply. Roderick will just say he will sort me out.

My insurance did mention that if I claim from my own I have to make a payment of R4680 before they take the car, but I do not have that kind of money laying around. My insurer Auto and General called but only to say they cannot help me.

Took a chance the other day and took the car to L @m Bakwerke for a quote. They told me the insurance must do that for me ,but since my insurance want nothing to do with the problem and Roderick is M.I.A. my hands is pretty much cut off.

Roderick and his dad stopped answering my calls and this is the second week I am without a car. My insurance do not even want to help me call or get in contact with Roderick’s insurance.Ive done my job ,I’ve paid my insurance on time I’ve gone to the police station ,,,,why am I paying Auto and general for Insurance. I am broke because and feel I have invested money into something. policy number ***
