Auto and General are a bunch of ******

I had a warranty plan with Auto and General since January 2023. On 20 August I lodged a claim to fix my car: replacement of front and rear shocks, stabilizer links and ball joints. It was rejected due to wear and tear not being covered. However, I referred them to the wear and tear clause which states: "Fair wear and tear is covered. James, the consultant, concurred with me and sent the claim back to the assessors with a promise to call me back in the afternoon. Nobody called me back, instead they called the repair centre, who lodged the claim on my behalf, to inform them my claim was rejected. I called back yesterday and spoke to Orion who indicated that my claim was rejected because the parts were not covered except for the ball joints. It was no longer due to wear and tear not being covered by the policy. I canceled my policy immediately. Pls stay as far away as possible from these ******. Funny how we never assess them before giving them our money but our claims must be assessed in order for them to look for excuses not to pay
