ABSURD EXCUSES TO JUSTIFY CLAIM REJECTION

Auto and General Making stupid excuse to justify Claim Rejection. We suffered Roof leakage which resulted in our ceiling being damaged. Roof tiles were moved during the recent storm in Durban and resulted in numerous leaks on the Ceiling Board. This was confirmed by Assessor and Claims Manager but not considered to be addressed. Auto and General confirmed the movement of the tiles, but this was however, according to them not the reason for the leaks (Although profound Dripping could be heard). According to their findings, the leaks occurred from one section of the house, which on the roof overhang has few tiles missing. (But Overhangs is still so big that no water entry is possible even with those tiles missing) What I fail to understand is, that This particular section has no leaks or traces of water entry even remotely near it. The ceiling in that Area is 100% okay. I was asked if they must refer me for a second time, I declined and have no further interest in their excuses (Lies) their referral Process is just a waste of time. My opinion is that they Assessing for Reasons to Reject Claims. They’re not Assessing to offer Insurance. Disappointed, and now looking for better Insurer.
