2 months and still no motor cycle
On the 23rd of September they broke into my property and stole my motor cycle. It was recovered within a couple of hours but unfortunately sustained some damage in the attempted theft. I contacted my insurance company, Auto & General. Initially their service was great although it did take longer than expected to have the bike assessed. When they gave me the name of the bike shop which they wanted to take my bike to I was unhappy, having previously dealt with them and having found their workmanship shoddy and their attitude lax. I told Auto & General how I felt but they said there was no other shop they could take my bike to. I agreed, having no other choice. My bike has now been with the shop for more than seven weeks. In that time neither they nor Auto & General have contacted me unless I initiated contact. In fact the shop has never contacted me despite promising to on several occasions. Last week Friday I emailed Auto & General as I was very unhappy. They phoned me back saying that I would get my bike back the following Friday, yesterday. Needless to say, I still don't have my bike and neither Auto & General nor the shop have bothered to contact me.
