Vehicle Sold to two buyers

<p>I have been absolutely shocked by the terrible service and immoral sales practices followed by this branch. I contacted the used BMW sales consultant "Saan ********** from Auto Alpina Boksburg to confirm the availability of a BMW Z4 3.5i that was being advertised for sale, he confirmed that there was no pending finance on the vehicle and that the vehicle was available for sale this was on the 23rd of September 2016 where after my finance was pre-approved two hours later. I subsequently requested a test drive on the 24th as to finalise the required and was informed that the vehicle would be in order and that there was no damage to this vehicle. </p> <p>On arrival the staff was too busy smoking\chatting outside then interested in helping a customer, I felt like an idiot intruding and asking for help. The vehicle was not clean; there was hair from a brush still i the vehicle. I spotted scratches under the back bumper and behind the right door. To cap this off I was then informed that the vehicle has been sold to another party. This was after driving 40km and confirming the vehicle was available for sale. The other party obviously got the deal on the same day I submitted mine due to his trade in deal on the vehicle, the dealers generally make more profit from this type of structured deal so yes I was not awarded the vehicle.</p> <p>This type of scandalous sale practice seems to be quite common I was just not expecting this from a BMW branch. I drove straight to investment cars, received great service and will be picking up my new Nissan 370z literally within 24 hours, that is what I call service.</p> <p>The mistake they made here is that I have myself been working for the financial institutions for quite some time and know the relevant VAF departments and processes quite well, let’s see what happens after my complaints are processed as the financial institutions do not condone, support these type of activities.</p>
