Bad service don't buy from Mr Ben Fourie

Short Description Of The Case:

I purchased a second hand vehicle from Mr Ben Fourie from Auto Africa cc. I paid R90,000 cash by eft. He advised that the car had a full service and all in great condition. On same day of collection car indicated a mechanical problem. Mr Ben Fourie told me to take it to AA Auto centre Randburg, where it was checked. On inspection I was informed that a spare part was needed for exhaust area and car was safe to drive, till I get registration papers. On 21 September 2023, 21 days after purchase the car broke down smoking from the bonnet leaving me stranded next to the road. I immediately informed Mr Fourie. He then organized tow service to tow the car to AA Auto Centre Randburg. I was then informed there was a serious mechanical fault which would amount to R23 777,24. to repair. Mr Ben agreed to pay half the repairs as it was only in mine for 21 days. However up to date he has never done it leaving me without a vehicle since 22 September 2023. I was promised a loan car which I never received. I'm a mother of 2 girls and struggled for 2 years without a car. Mr Ben Fourie has blocked all communication from me. According to AA Auto centre the invoices was send to Mr Ben Fourie as he organized the car to be taken there. To date I don't know where the car is or kept. Know storage cost was added and I couldn't afford all of it. Never received invoices of agreed to storage. I won the case at MIOSA and when he refused to do anything they referred me to Gauteng consumer affairs. But they can't locate him for the summons, and so can't do anything.
