Austro Group

We bought a machine from Austro Engineering (Pty)Ltd in Blackheath, Cape town. The machine was secondhand, but they promised that the machine is in full working order. We paid them in full and they deliver 2 days later. When we start up the machine it was not functioning correctly. We were promised a new cutter for the machine, which they eventually delivered after 21 days just to find out it is the wrong cutter. I wait another 3 weeks for the right cutter. When their technician fit the cutter and start the machine it was not functioning correctly. He tried to fix the machine, but was not successful. They sent two anther technicians who spent 3 days to fix the machine. On the third day they just packed up, with parts that were removed by them still laying on the ground. They say that they cannot fix the machine and left. I phoned Francois Els several times , but he did not answer his cellphone. I phoned the landline and was told the responsible persons Gary Miles and Francois Els are not at the office, but I could hear as the receptionist put me on speakerphone and asked what the problem was. I asked her to take me of speakerphone. I then received an email from Gary Miles to telling me it is my fault that the machine is not working. I then phoned their head office in Johannesburg and was told someone of their office will call me back. I am still waiting for the last 4 days. Please be aware of the Business ethics of Austro Engineering(Pty)Ltd. Full of promise, but once they have your money they do not deliver the services as promised.
