DECIETFUL AND **********

I've found the service throughout this process abhorrent and in gross violation of the Consumer Protection Act. I was never given a quote prior to repairs being done. Instead, I was **** to and told the vehicle had been stripped down and work would not begin until paying over R21,000 for repairs. Only after declining and saying we would go elsewhere for repairs we were told the job was already completed. We were continuously deceived and manipulated by conflicting facts and ever changing story lines.

Further, at no point in time did I approve work to be done or parts to be installed after given a cost estimate. Instead the vehicle was worked on without agreed consent and we were charged what seemed to be a made up amount (suddenly changing from R21,000 odd to R10,000) to be paid with the threat of the dealership keeping the vehicle for as long as the process took to be resolved. Auric Auto seems to employ the epitome of every sleazy, dishonest, worthless car salesman stereotype out there, and it's unfortunate that they've probably taken advantage of many other customers in the same manner.
