Deception and *****
About four years ago I bought a Mini Convertible from these guys. The car had 20000 on the clock and I was told that it had impeccable provenance with no accident history. From day 1 there were niggles and issues with the car that raised my suspicions. It went back to Auric on numerous occasions with them resolving some issues and some not. After 3 years of trying I finally got an admission from Auric that car had previously been in an accident requiring about R 50 000 worth of repairs. They then assured me in writing that this would not affect the car's future value and I took their word for it. The future has now come and when I wanted to trade the car in on a new car 4 new car dealers declined to trade it in because the car has apparently been flagged on a industry data base due to its accident. The trade-in value of the car should be R178000 and the retail value R199000. Auric then offered to buy the car back from me for R155000, way below either of those values and refused to budge. They are completely unrepentant about **********ly representing the car knowing full well that I would never have bought it if I had know its history. Would you buy a car from these guys ?
