Oakfields Farm doesn't care

<p>On March 23, 1 of the workers on Oakfields farm was cutting the grass on the verge. A stone flew up and broke the window in our vehicle while we were driving past. We approached Oakfields to fix the window for us. Carl Visser, general manager of Oakfields, responded on March 24 to say that he awaited further guidance from the insurer legal section. To date, 26 April, we have had no further contact from Carl Visser or anyone else at Oakfields farm. Rather Elke Smith of FNB, their broker, ( yet she claims FNB are not mandated brokers - then why are they involved?) has contacted us to say that she cannot assist but we must deal with Hollard directly. However neither Nkosi, Janine or Loraine of Hollard has responded or tried to resolve the matter in any way.</p> <p>Would you deal with a company that does not have any interest in helping a pensioner get their car window fixed, when they were directly responsible for the breakage? One wonders how they deal with clients in their conference and wedding venue. I strongly advise you not to deal with them?</p>
