Chased away like dogs

<p> I made a booking for two of my friends and I to go for a relaxing massage. Half an hour proir to the time of our appointent I received a call from the spa, but as I was driving I could not answer the call. After having parked 10 minutes later I return their call, only to have them tell me that my booking has been cancelled! The owner claims that he phoned to confirm my booking but 'a woman that does not understand English answered my phone and said she knows nothing about the booking', so he cancelled it. I decide to drive to the spa as my appoinment is now in 10 minutes time and I am sure the misunderstanding can be sorted. Having arrived there (my friends have also already arrived) I am given the same story by the owner. I said that it is unacceptable, they did not speak to the person under whos' name the booking was made, so they cannot simply cancel the appointment. Also, how can you cancel and fill my booking all in the space of half an hour? The owner states that he cannot help us, as our appoinment has already been taken, we will have to wait an hour. We have all organized baby sitters etc. for a specific time and had other plans araanged afterwards and said that this arrangement would not work, he could surely tell the people that he gave our booking to that he made a mistake? The owner is still unwilling to assist us. At this stage the manageress,who tried to be helpful throughout the process, sees that there has been a misunderstanding and talks to the 4 people that have taken our booking and sorts it out. She tells us that we can come in they would help us. The owner then says "No actually, you guys can leave!" and that he was not willing to lose those four customers because of us, he actaully doesn't give a ********** Never have I been so disgusted and humiliated in my life! I have been going to the spa for more than 3 years, and everytime that I have gone I have brought friends or family with me, only now to be chased away because the owner was unwilling to fix a mistake on their part. </p>
